Customer engagement is equivalent to customer experience. Consumers used to prioritize products and services when it comes to purchasing. However, customer experience is the determining factor when it comes to customer engagement.
A company needs to know its target audience. A company that has no knowledge of its target market will not be able to determine how to engage its customers. Customers are categorized in various ways. Thus, companies really should be able to determine what group is meant to be reached with the marketing messages.
There must be a perfect vision of what an ideal customer experience should be. With this in mind, a company will be able to direct its marketing strategies and techniques. As the Bible says, “Without a vision, the people perish.”
